Exosome Therapy
Exosome Skin Therapy
Exosomes are your body’s own cellular messengers, tiny, naturally occurring particles that carry growth factors and regenerative signals between cells. They’re what your body already uses to repair and renew. We’re simply giving it more of what it knows how to use.
When delivered into the skin through microneedling, exosomes work with your skin’s own repair processes to support collagen production, calm inflammation, and accelerate cellular renewal. The result, over a course of treatments, is skin that looks and feels genuinely healthier, firmer, smoother, more resilient, and more luminous.
Two concentrations, tailored to you
We offer a standard formulation for ongoing skin maintenance and gentle renewal, ideal for clients who want to support their skin’s health over the long term. For skin that needs deeper regenerative support, whether from scarring, sun damage, or significant texture concerns, our higher concentration delivers a more intensive treatment.
Your therapist will recommend the right approach based on your skin’s current condition and goals.
What to expect
Some redness, mild swelling, or sensitivity is expected for 24–72 hours following treatment, this is a normal part of the skin’s healing response. Your therapist will talk you through aftercare in detail. A course of sessions is typically recommended for optimal results. All potential risks are discussed before we begin. Individual results vary.
Exosome Scalp Therapy
It tends to happen so gradually that it’s hard to pinpoint exactly when it started. A ponytail that doesn’t feel quite as full. A part that looks a little wider in certain light. Hair that used to have body and now just… doesn’t. Hair thinning isn’t as dramatic as hair loss, but it’s real, and it can quietly shift how you feel about yourself in a way that’s hard to put into words. If you’re noticing these kinds of changes, you’re not imagining it. And there are options worth exploring.
Hair thinning is quieter than hair loss. That doesn’t make it easier.
At Dermal Design Clinic in Perth, we offer exosome scalp therapy specifically for hair thinning, a targeted, considered treatment that works with your body’s own biology to support a healthier scalp environment from within.
Exosomes are naturally occurring particles your body already produce, tiny extracellular vesicles that carry growth factors, peptides, and regenerative signals between cells. They’re part of how your body communicates repair. We’re not introducing something foreign. We’re working with a concentrated form of what your scalp already knows how to respond to. As we age, or when the scalp is under stress from hormonal shifts, inflammation, or lifestyle factors, this cellular communication becomes less efficient. Perth’s intense UV exposure and dry climate can compound the stress placed on both skin and scalp over time. Exosome therapy aims to support those natural repair pathways, delivered directly to the scalp through microneedling, which creates micro-channels that allow the treatment to reach where it needs to go. Over a course of treatments, the goal is a scalp environment that’s better equipped to support healthier, fuller-looking hair.
Hair thinning: what might be behind it
Thinning hair can have many causes, and understanding yours is the starting point for any meaningful treatment. Common contributing factors include:
- Hormonal shifts: postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, or thyroid changes
- Androgenetic (genetic) thinning: the most common form in both men and women
- Stress-related shedding (telogen effluvium) following illness, major life change, or sustained pressure
- Nutritional deficiencies
- Scalp inflammation or poor scalp health
We’ll always be straight with you about what this treatment can and can’t do. If the changes you’ve noticed have been sudden, patchy, or are accompanied by other symptoms, we’d always recommend seeing your GP first to rule out underlying causes. We’d rather point you in the right direction than start a treatment that isn’t the right fit.
This may be worth exploring if you’re noticing
- Hair that appears finer or less dense than it used to
- A gradually widening part or reduced ponytail volume
- Changes in hair texture, strength, or fullness over time
- Thinning connected to hormonal shifts or life changes
- A scalp that feels inflamed, tight, or consistently sensitive
Pair with LED
LED light therapy is a natural complement to exosome scalp treatments. Certain wavelengths may help support circulation and cellular activity at the scalp level, creating a more receptive environment for the treatment to do its work. We often recommend the two together, not as an upsell, but because the combination genuinely makes sense.
What to expect
Exosome therapy is delivered to the scalp via microneedling, precise, controlled, and tailored to your scalp’s condition. Some redness, mild tenderness, or sensitivity for 24–72 hours afterward is completely normal. It’s your scalp doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. Before your first session, your therapist will walk you through everything, what the treatment involves, what to expect in the days after, and how to care for your scalp as it responds. We’ll build a course plan around your timeline and your goals, and we’ll be honest with you every step of the way.
Results take time. So does trust. We’re comfortable with both.
All potential risks are discussed in full before we begin. Individual results vary.
